Can you migrate reports from Quicken Windows to Quicken Mac, Redux

Well, well, well. The only thing I could find on this forum indicates that not only can you NOT migrate the reports, you should be ashamed for even asking the question. IF you people offer products on multiple operating systems I don't think it's too much to ask that such a basic function as REPORTING ought to be compatible between the products. I have the ugly feeling that you used some ridiculous Windows specific scripting tool like Visual Basic or one of its type to do the reports and therefore there's no way to do the export. If so, that was a horrible decision. At the very LEAST one should be able to do a full backup from Windows and a restore in Mac and get the reports. I just took over the job of church treasurer and found that I'm going to have to install Windows on an old Mac to do the job efficiently or else drive 30 minutes to go in and use the office computer. It stinks to high heaven, folks. Fix it.

I suspect reporting on both Windows and Mac is built on top of functionality built into each operating system, so it would be difficult to port reports in either direction without doing a huge amount of work on both sides. And since Quicken is primarily intended as personal finance software there just isn't a huge need for that kind of cross-platform compatibility - most users are going to pick either Windows or Mac & stick with it. So yes, they probably could do it, but they probably won't ever consider it important enough to do given the amount of work involved.
