How much money goes into this account on a monthly basis? Generate an annual report with monthly breakdowns.
Three contributing accounts: Ck, Jo Ck, Jo Sv.

One account being monitored: Jt Ck.

Saved report instructions will take in consideration the current date and 12 month's previous data at the time report request is launched.

    Hello @Bob Osgood,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like you want to generate a report in Quicken for Mac that tracks how much money is deposited into Jt Ck from Ck, Jo Ck, and Jo Sv, with a monthly breakdown, right? If so, I suggest following the instructions below to see if this report will work for you.

Start by going to Reports in the top menu, then select Transaction > Transactions by Account. Once the report opens, click Edit at the top to bring up the customization window. In the Edit Report window, set the Date Range to Last 12 Months so that the report dynamically updates each time it is run.

Under the Accounts tab, select Selected Accounts, then choose Jt Ck as the account being monitored. This ensures that the report only includes transactions affecting Jt Ck.

Next, click on the Advanced tab, where you’ll see the Transfers options. Select Include selected transfers with accounts outside of report. This ensures that the report captures transfers into Jt Ck from accounts that are not selected in the report, which in this case would be Ck, Jo Ck, and Jo Sv.

To structure the data with a monthly breakdown, go to the "Type" setting and choose Transaction. Then, set Row: Time and Interval: Month. This will group the data by month, allowing you to see exactly how much money is transferred into Jt Ck each month.

Once everything is set up correctly, click OK to apply the changes and review the report to confirm that it accurately reflects deposits from Ck, Jo Ck, and Jo Sv into Jt Ck. If everything looks correct, click Save Report and name it something like Monthly Deposits to Jt Ck so you can access it in the future.

Let me know if you have any questions or if anything needs adjusting—I’m happy to help! 😊
