Capital One Issues

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭

I've been using Quicken for over 30 years. For many of those years I've had 2 Capital One credit cards. One in my name. One in my wife's name. Totally separate accounts. Mine is a Mastercard. Hers is a Visa. We each have our own individual logins to their website.

For years, I've had no issues downloading transactions for both accounts using one step update.

Recently, I've been getting error CC800 doing a one step update. I've tried resetting both accounts. I've deactivated both accounts, then set them up for online use again. My problem is I can't get both to work at the same time, anymore. I go through all the steps to authorize each account and when I do, it tells me that the other account doesn't exist. I've had to leave one deactivated to be able to use one step update.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks on advance.

    Hello @Mike Brugler,

We appreciate you letting us know about the issue you are experiencing!

Upon reviewing your account, we do not see any errors occurring internally. Therefore, I'd like to gather some additional information first.

    • Where is your Quicken data file stored? Is it on your local hard drive (C: Drive) or a cloud-based/external drive (e.g.: OneDrive, DropBox, USB, etc.)?
    • Since you are receiving error CC-800, have you tried the exact troubleshooting steps as outlined in this support article?
    • Are you using a VPN while updating your accounts? If so, does disabling it make any difference?
    • Do you have any antivirus or malware protection software running that may be interfering with Quicken? If so, have you tried temporarily disabling it to see if the issue persists?
    • If you don't mind, please submit your log files via Help > Report a Problem so we can take a look at them to further investigate.

Your answers will help us diagnose the issue more effectively.

    Looking forward to your response!
