Wells Fargo "disconnected" updates and won't re connect

About a week ago Wells Fargo stopped downloading. When I try and reestablish the relationship I get an error (with no number code) saying Quicken knows it has a problem connecting with Wells Fargo and it's not my fault. This has not changed for a week. Any idea how to progress?

We appreciate you letting us know about the error you are experiencing.
Is the error displayed in a yellow box and does it look similar to the error displayed in this screenshot here (different financial institution, but I believe the error you're seeing may be the same)?
If so, our teams are actively investigating this issue further as we are seeing this error occur across multiple different financial institutions and they would like users experiencing this error to try the steps provided below:
- Run One Step Update (OSU) first to see if the issue resolves.
- If the issue persists, rename the runtime.dat file located at: C:\ProgramData\Quicken\Inet\FILENAME\
- (For example, add a 1 at the beginning of the file name so it reads 1runtime.dat.)
- Run One Step Update again to check if the problem is resolved.
- Close and reboot Quicken to ensure changes take effect.
📌 Note: The ProgramData folder is hidden by default. If you need help accessing it, Microsoft's support site has instructions on how to unhide folders.
To assist in our investigation, please provide the following and let us know once you have done so:
- Logs (Help > Report a Problem)
- Screenshots (excluding personal data)
- A sanitized copy of your Quicken data file (with personal details removed)

I'm having same issue….but on 7 accounts.
I eventually deactivated all WF accounts and reconnected. Still no downloads.
Tried your rename file and got a whole new One-Step Summary, however nothing was downloaded….when I clicked on Wells Fargo to see the account balance and if it differenced from actual; it was recording balances back to 8/30/2024 (hey its March 25) and showed a balance of $0.00 for all accounts.
How do I fix Wells Fargo download/download connection. Please Help

FIXED…..Start with dumping Quicken Managed Connected apps in Wells Fargo and deactivating all accounts in quicken. Then reactivating then. Finally changing connection type in Quicken to EXPRESS WEB is the solution…..this placed the connection apps back in Wells Fargo.

Quicken Anja: your runtime.dat file rename did clean up my messy one-step summary once I got the proper wells fargo connection. Thanks
Hints:
I had to do a search for "Managed Connected apps" in Wells Fargo to find where I could delete them…I didn't just unclick, I deleted.
Once you re-establish Online Service for Wells Fargo in Quicken, go back in and change to "Express Web"
