Windows Classic Premier - Quicken Could not locate file

I have been using Quicken for over 20 years. Got an error this morning that Quicken could not locate file. The result is that posted transactions have disappeared from calendar view. Does anyone have a good solution or fix to repair this issue. I have tried to restore a back-up but that only works until I download transactions. Any help would be appreciated.
UPDATE - I went in and validated the file "Validate and Repair File" under FILE menu. That appears to have fixed the issue. :)
