Started today.  I have a few accounts where the register cash is correct on the row of the last entry in the register, but incorrect at the bottom right where it shows Cash Value.  As a result the Total Market Value on the bottom right is also incorrect. You will notice in the attached image that the cash in the register is $555.02, but the Cash Balance shows $507.82. I also reported this from within Quicken using the “report a problem".

That $507.82 is the current balance in the account. Is that $47.20 transaction future, or past, dated.

At your brokerage's website, what's shown there?

I think you need to enter and save the 47.20 into the register. Click on Enter. Looks like it hasn’t been finished entering.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

    All transactions are completely entered.

I'm a 35+ year user of Quicken, but I will make sure. This is 1 of 4 accounts having the same issue. This has really never happened before with these accounts that I can recall. However, I will check the dates on the specific transaction(s).

Well, after re-checking, I can’t believe I missed this, and feel like kicking myself as I am known for my attention to detail. The Broker’s website has several transactions that are dated 3/28 (and they are not pending), but I see now that they came down to Quicken with 3/31 as the date (2 days from now). This is the situation, so I thank you very much for your suggestions.

I might kick myself after I check the date(s). It usually only downloads transactions as recent as the previous day.

They were all downloaded with Direct Connect, and I accepted them; therefore, they should all be properly entered. I will go back in and make sure to check the dates. Thank you...

If 47.20 is a common transaction, some such recent downloaded transaction might have gotten incorrectly matched to a prior transaction instead of entered as a new transaction.

It’s not incorrectly matched, the discovered issue is the Broker has them dated 3/28, but several transactions came down via direct connect with date of 3/31. Thanks for your input.

@mmpunch Thanks for 'fessin up. And, as a former bank auditor I can certainly understand those "kicks".

BUT, last time I checked, we're all human.

Glad I could point you in the right direction.
