Unable to sync Bank of America personal and business accounts at the same time

All of a sudden, I am unable to link my BofA personal and business accounts simultaneously. If I disable and reenable my personal accounts, they reconnect correctly, but my business account disconnects, and vice versa if I disable and reenable my business accounts. BofA requires separate logins for personal and business accounts. This issue just appeared within the last few days. Perhaps a faulty update?

    Hello @speedy240,

Thanks for reaching out to tell us about this issue!

To better assist you, could you please provide the following details?

    • Where is your Quicken data file stored? Is it on your local hard drive (C: Drive) or a cloud-based/external drive (e.g.: OneDrive, DropBox, USB, etc.)?
    • Have you attempted any troubleshooting steps so far? If so, what were they?
    • Are you using a VPN while updating your accounts? If so, does disabling it make any difference?
    • Do you have any antivirus or malware protection software running that may be interfering with Quicken? If so, have you tried temporarily disabling it to see if the issue persists?
    • Were there any significant changes to your system or software before the issue began (updates, new installations, etc.)?

Your answers will help us diagnose the issue more effectively.

    Looking forward to your response!

    Hello Anja,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have verified that the VPN is OFF and the file is local to the PC. There have been no significant changes except the routine Windows and Quicken updates. I also tried using the Update function on an older backup file, which I know at the time it was backed up and had no issues, but the function just locks up. The problem is the Quicken servers or the most recent Quicken update. It would not be unheard of for a Quicken update to cause problems.

I have been using Quicken for over ten years.
