Calendar View stops responding when editing a transaction

I use Quicken Classic Deluxe - R62.16 Build 27.1.62.16. Lately, I've been experiencing a long time issue much more frequently when using the Calendar view. When I attempt to edit a transaction within the Calendar view, I get a spinning circle which never ends. I have to end task on the Quicken and reopen it. However, the change I made sometimes saves and other times, it does not. This used to be a once in awhile issue but now is happening more frequently. I've run Validate as well as Support Validate but no change. Has anyone else encountered this issue and is there any known cause or soluytion? Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for sharing this and for including those details — I know how frustrating it can be when a feature that usually works starts acting up.

    When this happens in the Calendar view, are you usually editing a specific type of transaction, like a scheduled bill or paycheck reminder, or does it seem random? Have you noticed if the freeze happens right after clicking “Edit,” or does it let you make changes and then freeze when saving? Also, is this behavior limited to one specific account or does it occur across different calendars and accounts?

    As soon as aI click ona transaction within the calendar veiw in order to edit or skip it, the circle spins and it never resolves. I cannot close the Calendar view ior click on any other transactions and I'm forced to end task on Quicken in order to reopen it. It's a big issues for me. I've been unable to find any other report of another user having the same situation. Any assistance or direction you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
