Those who are looking to buy or renew a subscription might also want to check out NewEgg.com which, after entering the promo code listed there, has prices $3 - $10 lower than Sam's.

Activation codes are good for up to 1 year after purchase and can be used to extend the current subscription up to 6 months before the current subscription expires. So it's a really good time to be proactive and buy now even if the current subscription won't expire for a while.

I currently have Premier, if I renew but do Delux, does Quicken automatically switch me? I am not sure why I selected Premier when I got my new subscription a few years ago, but I don't think I need the Premier for what I use Q to do. This is a good price so I will do Premier if I have to. Thx!

@TracyC - You might want to review the products comparison matrix at the following link. It's a bit out of date but I think it still pretty accurately captures the main differences between the various editions of QWin.: https://www.quicken.com/compare/nBuy . For the most part, Premier offers some additional bells and whistles for investments and some free Quicken Bill Manager Check Pay and Quick Pay transactions. Hopefully this matrix will help you to be sure of which subscription edition you want/need to have.

To change the subscription from Premier to Deluxe you will need to log into your online Quicken.com account and change the subscription there. The change will take place after your current subscription expires. @TracyC - one important thing to note is that you can only downgrade within 6 months prior to your renewal date. I point that out because it is something that is documented but easily missed.

I don't see sale prices at any of the usual places right now (Costco, Sams, Amazon, Office Depot, Staples, NewEgg).

Those sale prices were from a nearly a month ago. They pop up, again, several times each year. Just keep checking.
