CC-501 error on ALL credit card downloads

Their fix is to sign off and sign back on, which I have done 3 times this week.
If this is an error on the Quicken server, why does signing off get around the problem?

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To clarify, is the "their" that you're referring to Quicken Support? Logging out of Quicken and back in again can resolve some Quicken server-related issues, since it refreshes your authentication token with Quicken.
However, since it sounds like you've done this multiple times, and the issue keeps returning, we'll need to investigate further to track down the source of this issue. Please navigate to Help>Report a Problem and send us a problem report with log files and a screenshot of the error message you're seeing attached.
Once you've sent the logs, please let me know, so that I can review them to track down the exact error.
