please add the new security symbol MUSD.U on TSE to your database of securities.

It is new and not currently in the list so the stock quote does not update. Thanks. This is Evolve MUSD.U on TSE.

What is that security? Because I went over to Fidelity.ca and couldn't find it.

It is a us dollar 73 day duration money market fund (so similar to t-bills I imagine but even less than 90 days), with a yield around 4.4%-5% (plus some annual return of capital) and trades as MUSD.U on TSE. I see that Quicken does have HISU.U (also by same company) on their quote list so I just assumed it is very new and that's the reason it isn't added yet? https://evolveetfs.com/product/musd/

It's not new at all. Per the weblink that you provided, the ETF was created in 2023.
SO, when you do TOOLS, Security List what shows in the TYPE column across from this security?
AND, it's not a fund, which might be the problem. It's an ETF and should show as a STOCK.

Where, at what company in in what type of account, do you hold this? And, do you hold any other ETFs that DO download?
Since I'm a US user, I have no idea if this is applicable, but I wonder if there's an issue with QCan and ETF's.
@Arctic Hare Can you look into this?

Investment register USD. I held hsuv.u in there for a few years and was never an issue. That etf is identical in every way and exchange as musd.u

OK, I'm mystified, which is why I asked Arctic Hare to take a look. He's a QCan SuperUser.

Have you gone past the search function? That the Add Security search does not find the security does not mean the quotes download function will not process the ticker correctly.
For my US Quicken when I add a security, I can search on the Ticker TSE:MUSD and the TSE:MUSD.U security pops up. The download shows a price of 100.19 for 4/7 and similar prices for erratic prior dates. No explanation for that aspect except that it might be lightly traded.

The three you mentioned as added to my US Quicken file
No promises with respect to your Canadian edition.

Yeah but notice the clock on the MUSD in your picture..I assume this means it is not getting a quote like the others.

That’s what I said - its most recent quote was 4/7 and prior to that, the dates with quotes are erratic meaning not every day. Your issue was getting the security added. That is what I was addressing. First things first.
Yeah but…
“Yeah” meaning now you have the security added? “but” meaning now you have a different issue?

Strangely, In the Canadian Quicken I don't see this security come up under any combination of these symbol searches like you are seeing, not even a data point for 4/7.
