E*Trade - transaction downloads

We have been downloading transactions for E*Trade for years, including through the transaction with Morgan Stanley. We needed to change our user name and now we are working to reconnect the download. It is telling us that E*Trade only allows a simple tracking method. How can this be the case when we were downloading transactions, even this week? Is there something I am missing? I would like assistance in how to set up daily downloads for complete tracking in Quicken.

Let's see if we can find the problem.
Can you tell me which download method this account is setup for. To find that, open up the account register > then click on the "gear" icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select "Edit Account Details". What box is checked under the "Tracking Method"? If it is "Simple Positions Only" click on the "Complete - Positions anf Transactions button.
Next - click on the Online Services tab. What does it say after "Connection Method".

@Frankx - Thanks so much for the followup. It is Direct Connect. My husband had me restore a backup and then just change the user name, instead of walking through the FixIt when it failed using the old user name. If this doesn't work next week when some more transactions will need to be uploaded, I will reach back out.
