Is anyone else getting "Download Errors" when trying to update their Merrill Lynch Accounts?
I am using Windows 11 and am running the current version of Quicken Premier R62.16.
It started about 7 to 10 days ago; before that I didn't have any problems.
Whenever I try to update my Merrill Lynch Investment Accounts, I get the "An Error has Occurred" message in Quicken.
The workaround for me is then I have to manually log into my Merrill Lynch account, and "Confirm the Access to Quicken".
I have to do this every time; it's not just one time.
I have spoken to Merrill Lynch about this, but it's like I am the only one having this problem.
Based on that; I am just curious if anyone else is having this same problem as me?
Thanks,
Don Acosta

@Don_Acosta - you are not the only one experiencing this - some other users have reported this issue. The attached thread is for Quicken Mac but I don't this issue is platform specific.

I too have been having this issue for several months. It's quite annoying.

I found another thread on what I believe to be the same topic.

I am having a similar issue with Quicken for PC (version R62.16). I used Merrill Lynch Retirement (benefits.ml.com) with Quicken for my old employer for YEARS without issue. Now I have a new job and every time I try to set up an account connected to benefits.ml.com, it goes to the "We must authorize this connection…" screen, I press "Next", and it immediately goes to "Set up a Manual Account". I would like to set up a CONNECTED account to benefits.ml.com. Help! :-)

@Michael England I responded to your other post, just in case you missed it, I copied it here again -
The only connection available for Merrill Lynch Retirement (benefits.ml.com) is Web Connect (WC). What this means is your ML Retirement account is not available for update via One Step Update (OSU). You must go to your online account with ML Retirement and download transactions from there. The first time you download transactions, you will be asked to link to your account in Quicken, After the link is made each time you download the QFX file, Quicken will automatically know what account the transactions belong to.
You might want to confirm with ML or your company's HR that there isn't a newer connection available since the time you used it with your old employer.

This still doesn't work for me an I am running on MacOS. All fingers point at Quicken and Quicken is totally unresponsive regarding IF and WHEN they will fix this issue.
