Problems with Xfinity-Comcast as Online Biller (Q Mac)

I have been trying to pay my Xfinity bill for the past two days using Bill Pay without success. I go through the process of paying through Quicken (Mac) Bill Pay and the transaction is pending for about 24 hours. Then I receive an email and text from Quicken that the payment failed. The notice states the issue is on Xfinity's end. I was able to successfully pay the bill directly through the Xfinity web portal. Tried twice before giving up.

Hello @GIWalt,
We appreciate you sharing your experience — I completely understand how frustrating this must be.
Since you've already received email confirmation that the issue is on Xfinity’s end, and given that your payment went through successfully on their web portal, it does suggest a connection or processing issue between their system and Bill Pay. Unfortunately, because this is on the biller's side, there isn't anything we can do from within Quicken to resolve it.
I do recommend continuing to make payments directly through Xfinity for now and checking back in Bill Pay periodically to see if the connection improves. If Xfinity is able to resolve the issue on their end, payments should begin processing normally again through Quicken.
We know this isn’t ideal, and we truly appreciate your patience in the meantime.
Thank you!

Please consider this alternative to using Bill Manager. It's my understanding that many banks and billers, in an attempt to better secure their computer systems from hackers, are closing their doors to third-party data aggregators like Quicken, Intuit, etc.
