Name change for Schwab money fund

Schwab Value Advantage Money Fund (SWVXX) has been renamed the Schwab Prime Advantage Money Fund. the ticker will remain the same under the new name. How will Quicken handle this change? Will it rename it?

There's a "corporate name change" Action in Quicken that you can select. You can change it that way.

@AMP another way to update a security name is to is go to "Edit Security Details" and click on "Look Up"

On the next screen, highlight the security, and then click on "Select". The security will be then updated to the new name.

This will update all transactions with the new name. This is especially helpful if you just want to correct or update the name and don't know the date of the security name change.

@AMP it looks like the Corporate Name Change action also changes the security name retroactively without creating a separate transaction on change date. So both ways gets you the same results.
