OFX Error: 16503 and OFX Error: 2000 Credit Union of Colorado

I recently lost connections with my various accounts at this institution, and now they won't reconnect. When I try to connect I get the window that says "OFX Error: 16503" or "OFX Error: 2000."

I've seen multiple threads with people occasionally having this issue at other institutions. My question is whether this is something most likely on the institution's side of things (i.e. not a Quicken problem) and if so, would they be aware of it without customers reporting it?

    Hello @KevinB,

We appreciate you letting us know about this issue!

The OFX Error: 16503 indicates Quicken did not receive the expected response from the bank, and OFX Error: 2000 is a general connection error that typically includes a custom message from the bank that explains what action may be needed. Both errors are sent directly from the financial institution's servers to Quicken. However, in your case, the 2000 error doesn’t include any additional information, which means only the financial institution can clarify the issue.

You can find more information on both errors below:

Since these errors originate from the bank’s side, and Quicken doesn’t have access to their internal systems or servers, you'll need to contact the financial institution directly for further assistance. When you do, we recommend asking to speak with a Tier 2 agent or a supervisor, as they tend to have more experience with third-party applications like Quicken.

    Hope this helps!
