Canadian Rental Property

I purchased Quicken Home and Business, BECAUSE it did rental properties.

After getting it all set up, I found that rental properties are not in the Canadian version.

Why not? [Edited - Language]

If I switch to the American version, support says it will not interface with Canadian banks.

What am I supposed to do?

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry for the frustration—especially after purchasing Quicken Home & Business specifically for rental property features.

At this time, rental property management features are only available in the U.S. version of Quicken Home & Business and are not included in the Canadian subscription. I understand how disappointing this can be, especially after investing time into the setup.

While the U.S. version does offer rental property features, as you mentioned, it does not support connectivity with Canadian financial institutions—so unfortunately, switching versions may limit your ability to download transactions from your bank.

That said, we do have an active Idea post in our Community requesting that rental property features be added to the Canadian version of Quicken, which I have linked below. If you’d like to see this functionality introduced in a future update, you can support the idea by clicking the up arrow beneath the vote count and optionally adding a comment explaining how this feature would benefit you. Our Product and Development teams review these suggestions regularly when planning future improvements.
