I am migrating to a new WIN10/11 Desktop PC.

Presently, I am using Quicken Classic Deluxe. I see where I can download Quicken Classic, but how do I get the Deluxe version?

Also, I have frequent (USB) backups of my data file. Should I use the latest backup version, I do frequent backups, or use my latest working file? If working file, what is the extension (.xxx) name and are there any other files I will need? Too many .xxx files and have lost track of what each one is for.

Any other tips?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

There is only one download for all of the different editions of Quicken Windows (US). It is the subscription that determines which features are turned on. So, do the download and install and then sign in to Quicken with your current active subscription and if that is Deluxe, the installation will be activated as Deluxe.

As far as the data file goes, I'd copy the complete contents of the Quicken folder from the old computer to the new computer's Quicken folder. Then, in Windows Explorer, find your current .QDF file and double click on it to start Quicken and open that file to add it to the recent file list on the File menu.

You should be able to log into your quicken account and download your current subscription version from there. I would just make a copy of your current working file and use that.
