Why does the Projected Balances graph not include account balances ?

As far as I can tell, the Projected Balances graph only totals future spending and income transactions. It seems to ignore current account balances. So, for example, the graph of my brokerage accounts is showing a negative balance which makes no sense and is really no use at all.
What is this graph supposed to do ?
Is there a way to graph the total of all account balances ?

In the context of paying bills, cash balance is probably more useful than net worth.
There's a Net Worth card on the Home dashboard.

It only includes the cash balance in the selected accounts, any assets (even money market funds) are not included in the graph.

Jon, thanks.
I guess graphing cash flows might be useful, but not for me. I've been looking for a way to graph net worth over time – or at least to graph all account balances. I can get a graph of all investment account balances but can't find a way to include banking account balances.
Cheers.

Thanks, haven't looked at the Home dashboard much. I'll spend some time trying it out.
Cheers.

There is actually a report which does this: the Net Worth Over Time report. It shows a graph of your net worth by month for the time period you specify. BUT… this is one of the last of the "old" reports that came from the predecessor code to the current Quicken Mac, and there's no certainty it will continue to be available in the future. Over the years, most reports in Quicken Mac were rebuilt to use a modern architecture, but this one has neither been updated or replaced So you can't control the time periods of the report (such as annually or quarterly), but you can specify which reports are or are not included.
