Quicken is no longer updating transactions for American Express for me either. I deactivated and reactivated. It goes through the motions but nothing gets downloaded. No error messages.

Thanks for reaching out! After some investigation, I can see that you are receiving a CP_Account_Not_Found error with your American Express account(s). That’s a fairly general error, so to dig in further, I’ll need a bit more info from you.

Please submit a problem report with your logs so we can investigate more deeply. Here’s how to do that:

    1. In Quicken, go to Help > Report a Problem
    2. Include a brief description of the issue
    3. Make sure to check the boxes to include log files and screenshot (if applicable)
    4. Submit the report

Let me know once you have done so!

    Hello @patruns,

Thanks for your patience and for submitting the report!

After reviewing your logs, I did find an FDP-350 error associated with your American Express connection. This particular error typically occurs when the security token used for authentication has expired, or when American Express’s servers don’t return the expected data during a transaction update.

To resolve this, please try the following steps:

Step 1: Deactivate the American Express account(s)

    1. Go to Tools > Account List (Ctrl+A). Tools - Account List QWIN.png
    2. Click Edit next to your American Express account.
    3. In the Online Services tab, click Deactivate.
    4. Repeat if you have more than one American Express account.

Step 2: Unlink from American Express

Log into your American Express account online and check for any linked third-party services (such as Quicken). Remove or unlink Quicken if listed.

    Step 3: Reactivate in Quicken

Follow the steps in this support article to reactivate your American Express account(s). Be sure to carefully link to your existing account(s) in Quicken when prompted.

Let me know how things go after following those steps—I’m here to help if the issue persists!
