CC transactions for a period of time didn't load

I was out of town for the last half of April, and when I downloaded transactions for the first time in a couple of weeks, three credit cards from two separate issuers failed to download transactions from April 14 to the end of the month. May appears to have downloaded correctly. Checking transactions were not affected. Resetting, deactivate/reactivate, validation didn't help. Not sure if it started at the same time as an update. Anything else to do?

R62.16, Win 10

Edit: Just now seeing similar recent problems below.

Do you solely rely on that download for transactions to be added to Q?

OR, does the download serve to "match" what you've manually input?

Also, what bank issued the cards and what download method (Direct Connect, etc) do you use with each of them?

Transactions via download only. AmEx and Citi by Express Web Connect+ (same as the checking account that is properly updating).

Thanks, but I've got another question. By any chance are the transactions of a repeating, or frequent, nature? Such that they might have gotten mis-matched with earlier transactions (OR, Q thought they were duplicates)?

And, does the FIs allow you to initiate downloads via Web Connect, where you initiate the download manually from their website? If so, and if they allow date-range selection when doing such, you might be able to download them that way. BUT, take a backup before trying such … just in case.

Failing that, it would seem that your only option is manual input of the missing transactions.

No. They are unique. I always initiate from Q. Not worth having Q if I have to go to each institution or manually input. My investment accounts are easily aggregated at one of those institutions, and I can make other arrangements for cash account overview. Looks like my last go-around on Q after 20+ years. I've been on the edge every year since the subscription model began, given bugs and connection problems and the price, and I think the juice is officially no longer worth the squeeze.

    Thanks!

There are other people reporting failing downloads of transactions. Mine are failing at Wells Fargo.

Did they stop in April and recommence in May? If not, probably (yet another) unrelated issue.

@jsncpa I wasn't suggesting ALWAYS initiating from the website … just for those missing transactions.

I understood. I'm not paying to have something performed automatically when I have to go behind it and correct it manually.

It's not a retail card. Don't think that would explain a "hole" in transactions with items before and after being picked up. There's no error being thrown and the connection works fine; it just doesn't pick up valid transactions. And wouldn't really explain an identical problem with another issuer.

@jsncpa did you try restoring a backup from before April 14th? If not, it may be worth a try.

@jsncpa, I can't explain your issue. It's not apparent that anyone can … I'm just trying to help you get your Q data updated.

Apparently, you want explanations more than the data … so I'm outta here.

Thanks for your efforts. It would be more accurate to say I want functioning software more than I want to perform the job of the software I've purchased. I personally don't see that as being unreasonable, but horses for courses.
