Hey,

I just got a new Windows 11 computer and I'm trying to load Quicken 2017 with the 2017 mondo patch that I have on my old computer. I've been through the MSVCR120.dll reinstall drill and tried to run the 2071 mondo patch again. I got the "Quicken is not installed on this machine" message. I have an old Quicken 2000 Basic disk. I installed it and now it still gives me the same message. I have tried to run other patches (2010,2013) but they give me the message that there is not enough space on my C drive - NOT TRUE! I'm stuck. any ideas?

Thanks, Otey

The old Q2000 disk is not of use in this situation. You will need the Q2017 installation program and then see this link about installing/re-installing pre subscription versions of Quicken:

https://www.quicknperlwiz.com/blanklogin2014-2017.html (ignore the title shown, I can't get it to just show the url) It will take you to information on quicknperlwiz's website for VERY important information on what needs to be retrieved from the installation on the previous computer.

-splasher using Q continuously since 1996
    - Subscription Quicken - Win11 and QW2013 - Win11
