I disabled all alerts in Quicken but I'm still getting Bill Overdue Alerts

I've disabled every alert in Quicken Classic Deluxe for Mac but I'm still getting emails about overdue bills. I also clicked on "alert settings" in the email, but that opens a Web page that explains how to change alert settings in the desktop application.

is there a way to disable these emails that I'm missing?

The bill is on autopay from the biller I have it set to "automatic" to automatically mark it as paid in Quicken.

I posted about this same issue a year ago, and did not get any responses. I decided to try again this year.

OK, so I'm a Quicken for Windows user and procedures on the Mac are different from WIndows, but …

For a bill which is paid by automatic debit from the biller, I really don't need to set it up as a Quick Pay transaction linked to the biller.
All I need is a "regular" (not Quick Pay) scheduled reminder to record the monthly payment in my checking account or credit card register.
When I receive the monthly email from the biller telling me that a new statement is available I mark this instance of the reminder as paid, updating the amount as needed. Doing so before the Due Date and before the next transaction download from the bank contains the debit transaction will add a transaction to the register. Quicken can then match the downloaded debit to the register transaction correctly and without any problems.

Hopefully, the same process will work for you.

That won’t work as this is an eBill, and I want Quicken to download the bill pdf for me. But I appreciate the idea.

The problem isn’t the bill, it’s the alert that I turned off a year ago but I still keep getting!
