target downloads causing erroneous entries

I've tried downloading directly from Target National Bank, Quicken doesn't recognize the QFX file as coming from Target National Bank. When I go through the nuisance (HAPPENS EVERY TIME I DOWNLOAD) of verifying the account, it doesn't appear to down load legitimate transactions but is adding erroneous amounts to my quicken register for my red card. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM. It's driving me nuts.

Hello @emily,
Thank you for sharing your experience. To clarify, are these erroneous amounts showing up when you import a QFX file from Target into your Quicken? Is the information that imports (or downloads) mostly correct, but showing incorrect amounts, or is it completely wrong, as though it's transactions from a completely different account?
You mentioned that Quicken isn't recognizing the QFX file. What exact error message are you seeing? Does this happen only when trying to update the existing account, or do you also see the issue when trying to add as a new account?
I look forward to your reply!

Target does not work. I also tried importing their QFX file. It does no work in the Windows or Mac version. The account is not recognized.
