Chase Not Validating Multiple Accounts

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭

Quicken Desktop for Windows - Chase wanted to reauthorize accounts. When I did, it disabled (for download) the accounts that have a separate login (they are my wife's logins). When I then went to reauthorize those accounts, it disabled (for download) my accounts. If I then reauthorize my accounts, it disables the others. It is a vicious circle and there is no solution. Meanwhile, the disabled accounts have a red circle with a line through it. The update message says it appears the accounts were deleted. How do I stop this merry go round?

    Hello @qkn.dan,

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To troubleshoot, are you able to see all the accounts from both logins under a single login (this may happen if you have access to some as Primary and others as an Authorized User)?

If you can see all accounts under a single login, then there are a couple things that can potentially cause this issue.

The first is if you are unselecting the accounts on the financial institution website while going through the authorization process. Unselecting the accounts on the website would revoke their permission to share with Quicken, and cause you to see the error.

The second is if you're seeing all the accounts for both logins on the Add/Link screen in Quicken, then you'd need to be careful to ensure that the accounts under the other login ID are showing "Don't add to Quicken" in the Action column.

If they show "Link to existing…" instead, then they are getting reconnected under the wrong login, which would cause you to see the error.

If neither of the above resolves the issue, or if the accounts are not visible at all under the other login, then what's most likely happening is that getting the authentication token issued for one login ID is revoking the authentication token for the other login ID.

I look forward to your response!
