Enhance Home UI Account List (Groups/Subgroups)

It would be very helpful to be able to group accounts shown in the account list panel on the home page by groups/folders which could be collapsed and expanded as needed. These groups could be used to group accounts by institutions, etc., instead of having a long list of accounts that make it difficult to locate a specific account.

What "Account List" are you talking about? The view from Tools / Account List or the Account Sidebar, usually on the left side of the Quicken window.

If you're asking about the Account Sidebar, this view is already grouped by account types, e.g., Checking, Savings, Credit Cards, etc.
Optional subtotals by group are available and can be added to the sidebar or displayed as popup views. Select the sidebar's gear icon and look for (and enable) "Show subgroup totals".

A printable report, Account Balances by Financial Institution Name, might be a helpful addition.
