My import seems to have gone well however, how can I make my register default show "Memo" & "Ref" fields? I used those extensively with Q 2010.

@DangerousDave In the account register, click on the small "register" icon to the upper right of the Balance column. You will see a list of column heading that can be added or removed. If you click on the "gear" icon in the lower left of the list, you have some options to either revert back to the default, or make other registers of the same account type the same as the one you are currently working on.
