Having the same problem as many others.. Net Worth (and all reports) is wrong (Q Mac)

One investment account in ALL reports, but particularly the Net Worth report, is over stating the account balance by $160,000. The account value in the accounts bar is accurate!

I talked to support many months ago. They had no clue and committed to getting back to me. Haven't heard from them since. What gives?

@Dean Mechler There's no way for us here on this community forum to help you diagnose the problem you're experiencing without more information. The Net Worth report works correctly for me, and I haven't seen any similar posts here from other users, so I'm thinking there's something specific in your data causing the discrepancy you're describing. (One wild guess: do you have any transactions which are transfers which also have categories assigned? Such transactions can cause unexpected results in reports.)

If you want to pursue the matter with Quicken Support, you need to call them, as they don't read and respond to posts here. (Although if you have a ticket number from your call with Support and post it here, a moderator may be able to check to see what happened.)

@Dean Mechler I was experiencing the same issue on Quicken for Mac Business and Personal Edition on the Home Dashboard screen.

If I clicked the Net Worth (Today) button in the Home Dashboard, it brings up the Net Worth - Details report. Several accounts showed a significantly incorrect balance, but drilling down into any account showed accurate data.

There's a button at the top right, Include Business Data. Everything is now accurate after clicking that button.

I'm not sure if this is a new button in a recent update or if I inadvertently unclicked it at some point. I'm also not sure if this is particularly helpful in your situation, but given the recency of your post I thought I'd pass it along.
