Barclays bank is not downloading any of my transactions. Its also NOT giving me any error message. My balance is also not the same as the online balance. Quicken says I have a credit balance. But, it should be a balance due of the same amount.

    Are other accounts/banks/cards downloading? Or, is Barclay's the only issue?

    What type of account(s) do you have with them? And, when you do TOOLS, Account List and click EDIT adjacent to a Barclay's account, what's shown in the "Financial Institution" column? If that column isn't present, it can be added via the OPTIONS button at the bottom of the dialog.

    Credit card registers, for as long as you owe money to the credit card company should show the Balance as a negative number, in red. If you owe money, but the register is showing a positive balance:

    • Reconcile your account register and resolve any issues regarding missing or duplicate transactions or incorrect amounts.
    • Get rid of any Balance Adjustment transactions you may have entered in the past.
    • Ensure that the account register's Opening Balance transaction still has the correct amount. Reactivating an account for transaction downloading may occasionally mess up the Opening Balance. So, edit the OB transaction and input the correct amount, positive or negative as needed or 0.00. Also put the correct amount into the OB transaction's Memo field, for future reference.
