Is anyone elses Quicken just plain, slow and locking up all the time?

I am running VR62.16 Build 27.1.62.16
All of this pretty much started 5 months ago when my hard drive died. I had everything backed up but when I was finally back up and running I installed the previous version of quicken file I hasd saves let it do its updates I impoirted my file and its basically been slow ever since. The only thing I can think of is maybe this is a 32 bit instead of a 64 bit but I cannot find anything to verify. I have validated my data file and it keeps finding new errors. So I started over much to my annoyance. Same thing it just keeps locking up after One Step, changing registers, and trying to go from 1 menu tab to another. Add this to the number of accounts I've had to add delete and re-add I'm super frustrated and ready to find a new program. Does anyone have any suggestions. I started my data file over yesterday and today its finding errors. Thats why I thing its the version of the program but I don't have any other options than the 1 to download. I've checked multiple times.

Where is your data file stored? Do you download from QWeb or QMobile?
Have you tried taking a backup and then running a SuperValidation? Hold down the CTRL & Shift keys the entire time that you're starting a Validation, until you see the "SuperValidate" message.
And, I'm also running R62.16 and not experiencing the issues that you describe … so the problem being the program isn't apparent to me.
