Tags column in Split

When I updated to Mac 8.2 the Tags column no longer showes up when I want to use the split category option. Will this be corrected in future updates? Or has it been permanently eliminated.

    In order to see tags in the split view, you need to have the Tag column enabled for view in the register. The explanation for this has been covered in several other threads. If you don't use tags in non-split transactions, you can make the column as narrow as possible and move it to the far right so that's out of the way.

    Thanks Rick! I can see how that works, but it always showed up for me and I didn't have it set up that way. It just disappeared with the latest update. I appreciate the work around!

    Well, I guess there was so much complaint that they changed it back. In the v8.2.1 build, Tags now shows in splits without being a column in the main register.

    @SusanKittrell As @RickO said, the developers have reverted to the previous behavior in the just-released 8.2.1 version. I've seen several complaints from users like you when they made the change in 8.2.0, and I'm genuinely interested and curious why you had the Tags column not visible in your register but needed it visible in your splits? For the Tags you use, you only used them on split transactions? You never needed to enter a Tag on a non-split transaction? What do you use Tags for in Quicken?
