Windows Classic Premier R62.16.

Example (may be different for you):

Transaction in Account: Corporate Acquisition (Stock for Stock)

Company Acquired: DFS

Acquiring Company: COF

New shares issued per held share: 1.0192

Price per share: I put closing share price on 5/19 for COF ($197.41)

==========================================

You will have fractional shares left over. And you may get a warning that your Quicken portfolio does not match online portfolio. This is because only whole shares are counted.

On May 21, a transaction of "In Lieu Of Frx Share Leu Payout" occurred. My brokerage listed it as INT (Interest) on download to Quicken.

I edited the Interest transaction and changed it to Sell. Sold the fractional shares with only the fractional number of shares and dollar amount. This cash amount was bought as money market shares on the same day by my brokerage.

Now Quicken compares to online portfolio .

Done.

    Hello @Michael Farley,

    We appreciate you taking the time to share this and provide such a detailed breakdown!

    This will definitely be helpful for other users navigating the same merger and working to reconcile their portfolios in Quicken. As such, I’ve gone ahead and moved your post to our Windows FAQs category.

    Thanks again!
