home currency issues

Since the last update to Quicken Classic Deluxe on Windows 11, a number of accounts have been identified as having Canadian Dollar home currency. Previous to that, only 1 account was so identified. Both banking, investment and credit card accounts. None of which had any foreign currency transactions. And reports for any accounts always show in Canadian dollars even though there are no Canadian dollar transactions in that account. I've been using Quicken since 1992 and I do not want to delete and reenter all of that history. Especially since it might all change again. How can I fix this?

    Hello @Kann,

Thank you for sharing your experience. Unfortunately, per our article on setting the currency for an account, it cannot be changed if there are any transactions in that account aside from the opening balance. Since the currency should not be able to change on it's own, I suspect the problem you're encountering is being caused by a file-specific issue.

To troubleshoot this, if possible, please restore a backup from before the problem started, and test to see if the issue persists in the newly restored backup.

Please let me know how it goes!
