One-Step Update problems with VISA Mercury Card

I recently got a Mercury Card VISA card, confusingly issued by First Bank and Trust. It showed up in the list of participating institutions, and successfully set up one-step updates.

But a weird thing I've never seen before happens every time: every charge transaction is downloaded as a payment, and all payments are shown as charges. I'm thinking it's a function of how Mercury simply displays their transactions. In a chat with their tech support, they say they have no idea how Quicken downloads their data, and could offer no help.

Any ideas? I think they are a relatively new card issuer.

Please do TOOLS, Account List, and tell us what's in the "Transaction Download" and "Financial Institution" columns across from the account. If a column isn't visible, it can be added via the OPTIONS button at the bottom of the dialog.

Also, click EDIT. What's shown as the Account Type? And, what color is the numbers in the BALANCE column of the account? In which column is the "Opening Balance" amount (the 1st transaction in the account)?

@NotACPA … Thanks for your reply.

Trans Down: Yes (Express Web Connect)

    Fin Inst: Mercury Card

So both those are as expected.

    Acct type: Credit

Opening Balance is $0, and it's black… and with no numbers in either column.
