I am pretty irritated

Recently I was looking for a transaction and couldn't find it. I started to look at all my bank accounts, my checking accounts, my credit card accounts and realized there were a slew of transactions missing from March and April on all three accounts and the automatic reconcile with online balance. didn't catch any of this. With reconcile with online balance you have to trust everyone to be doing their job which the bank and Quicken were not.

I called in to Quicken yesterday and they are aware of it, but their explanation was just terrible. And then they said they were coming out with a fix that was going to make sure that this didn't happen again but that I should check all my bank accounts for the transactions each time I update. What is going on and why does reconcile its online balance miss all the transactions that aren't downloaded?
