    Hello @rudes11125,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Could you please provide the exact steps that you are taking to import the file? Please review the instructions below.

Import account and transaction data using a .CSV file

Before attempting to import the .csv file, open it and ensure the rows are in the same order as the example below:

    CSVFileFormat

Important: The Transaction Type column needs to contain debit or credit, accordingly, for each transaction.

    To import the file:

    1. Choose File menu > File Import > Mint-compatible text (.CSV) File.

    FileImportCSV

    2. Select the .csv file you'd like to import.

    3. Click Open.

    4. Choose if you'd like the transactions to be imported into an existing account or have Quicken create a new account.

    CSVImport1

    5. Click OK.

    CSVImport2

    6. After completing the import, you can name/rename the account by right-clicking it and selecting Edit/Delete account.

Note: If a transaction has a category that doesn't exist in your data file, Quicken will create the category during the import.

    Let me know!

Yes! This imported but is there an easier way to import from the downloaded cloud csv version without having

to change every line item in each account to debit or credit?

From what financial institution are you getting a csv file of transaction data? The better setups download straight from the financial institution into your Quicken file without a separate file - csv or otherwise.

Hi there! I am happy that we were able to assist in getting your file imported? Unfortunately, there is not another way that I know at this time if you are specifically wanting to import a CSV file.

I suggest answering @q_lurker as he may be able to provide more tips. Knowing the financial institution that you are attempting to download the files from is a huge help!

    Thanks!
