Hello @crwalejr & @KernBuckle,
Thanks for reporting this!
As advised in our support article on error CC-501, this error is often temporary and may resolve on its own. Please wait 24 hours and try again.
If the error still occurs after that time, please post back here tomorrow and let us know so we can move forward with the next steps.
Thank you!

Had to remove and do a complete reinstall of Quicken. Initially Quicken would not install the program
without receiving this error during the install. In the end, I removed Quicken completely using Revo Uninstaller Pro and had to reinstall Quicken by right clicking on the Quicken install file and selecting "Run as Administrator". Running the install as Administrator was critical to this working for some reason. Finally got it installed and imported the data file. When I imported the data my Online services for most of my accounts no longer worked and received CC-800 Error. I deactivated each of these accounts in Account details and then reactivated them. It was a pain but I got everything back to normal. By the way there was nothing wrong with my data file. The problem started when I did One Step update this morning and attempted to install the latest Quicken version that I was prompted to do.
I could navigate this fairly easily since I have been using Quicken since it was in the DOS version and was a beta tester for many years. But this would have been a daunting task for novices. I really feel for those that are late to the game with Quicken. It just seems that these type of things happen more and more with the software.
