Is there a way to discover what the blank item is?

    That blank item you're seeing in the One Step Update Summary—with just a green dot and no label—usually points to a successful update for a service Quicken can’t clearly identify in the summary UI. It’s more of a visual glitch than a functional issue, but I get that it can be confusing.

    Here's what it could be:

    • A background sync like Cloud Sync or data file backup to Quicken Cloud.
    • A successful update for something like weather data or an inactive account that no longer has a name assigned properly.
    • A minor UI bug from a recent update where a service completes successfully but doesn't render a name in the summary list.

    How to investigate further:

    1. Click "See a report" on the item that is labeled (like quotes or bills).
      • Sometimes, even the unnamed process shows detail in the full report.
    2. Check your One Step Update Settings:
      • Go to Tools > One Step Update and review what’s selected.
      • Uncheck an item at a time and run an update to narrow down which process triggers the blank line.
    3. Optional: Refresh your data file’s components by closing and reopening Quicken or restarting your PC—this sometimes clears stuck summaries.

    This appears to be purely cosmetic unless you're noticing missing data.
