Fighting download errors and now Quicken Servers are not available???

I have an on-going issue that seems to occur weekly or more frequently where Quicken crashes during one step update and when I restart Quicken and attempt one step update all my account links are broken requiring reathorization. Today when this happened now I can not reauthorize my accounts because the Quicken servers are not available. I am a long time Quicken user but this constant fight is forcing me to search for alternatives to Quicken that may actually work.

    Hello @WICruiser,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    If you receive the error message, "Quicken Online Service is unavailable, please try again in 10 minutes" during a One Step Update, you will need to sign out of your data file completely and then sign back in. In doing so, you will refresh the registration token for your Online Connected Services which as a result will resolve the error.

    Please follow the steps below in order to do so.

    1. Navigate to Edit
    2. Preferences...
    3. Quicken ID & Cloud accounts
    4. Click Sign in as a different user (or it might say Sign in using a different Quicken ID) image.png
    5. Follow the prompts to Sign Out  skue85fpnptc.png
    6. Sign back in using your Quicken ID (email) and password 

    Once that is done, you should no longer receive the error and be able to run and complete a One Step Update successfully.

    Okay, that resolved the Quicken Server issue. Now if we could only stop the problems that keep resulting in bank authorizations from being cancelled (even though the banks confirm the accounts are already authorized) it would be great.

    I am glad we were able to resolve that issue! Would you mind providing more information regarding the bank authorization issue that you are experiencing? Which financial institution(s)? Are you receiving any error codes or messages? What exactly is occurring?
