Downloading transactions from a closed credit card

I'm using Quicken Classic Deluxe 8.2.1 on a Mac. Recently I closed one of my credit cards. Now when I launch Quicken and try to sync, it says "Quicken cannot connect to this account."

There are a number of transactions which were done between the time Quicken last synced, and the date I closed the card. Do I just have to manually enter every one of these? Is there any other way to do it?

This is with Chase bank, BTW.

If you closed this account, then you will likely will have to manually enter the remaining transactions as Chase is no longer allowing access to it (being that it is closed.)

I also suggest you go into that account's settings (icon lower right) and (under Downloads), choose to Disconnect the account to prevent further errors.

@aksdjfhlk23fkjhsa If you can still log into the credit card account online, you might be able to download transactions in QFX (or Quicken) format, if the financial institution supports it, and then import the QFX file into Quicken. You just have to be on the lookout for any duplicate transactions, which might occur because you're using a different connection method. You may want to make all your prior transactions as Reviewed prior to importing a QFX file, so you'll easily be able to spot all the newly added transactions and eliminate any duplicates.
