Please review the two transactions dated 5/9/25 for $18 and $36. These transactions should not be posted to this account, as they are non-cash items. My cash flow statement is off by $54 due to these errors. Please see the attached document: $54 Non-Cash Transactions in Lineage Category.pdf (Uploaded at 8:16 AM, 187.1 KB).
@mony4nothin one thing I don't see on the report is category. Maybe check the categories for those two items and if they should be corrected/changed, or verify that your report hasn't picked up any categories it shouldn't have.
Those 2 transactions only affected the Cash Flow Report, so I edited the category for that report. Everything is fine.
Thank you.
@mony4nothin glad you figured it out. Sometimes a simple report setting change is all it takes.
What are those items supposed to be? And, why can't you simply select them and delete them?
Those two transactions were refunds of A/R credit balances. If I delete the transaction, the credit balance will appear for those customers will appear.
Making sure that we're speaking the same lingo. As I understand it, you previously had credit card transactions that were refunded.
What categories did you use for those original transactions? BECAUSE, the way to deal with this is to use those original categories for these refunds … which will net out the original amounts and NOT be "income" because the refunds will use an Expense account as the offset.
