Banking Transaction Downloads

Quicken should allow a user to specify a Download folder for banking transactions being downloaded. Transactions should not be mixed into a browser's default downloads folder with other files.

I organize my Downloads folder with folders for the types of files being downloaded. The browser is also set up to ask where to place a file to be downloaded. Quicken ignores the browser's setting.

    Are you referring to downloading a QFX file?

    It is your web browser that determines where the download is not Quicken.

    And may I ask why you're manually downloading QFX files from your banks, one bank at a time?

    IMHO, One Step Update is so much more reliable and much faster, too. Of course, depending on the mix of your banks, YMMV.
