bank account data incorrect in both current and backup file - what to do?

I use Quicken for Windows version R63.21 build 27.1.63.21. I update my file quarterly. Today Quicken performed an update, and when I opened the file it showed my primary checking account balance as overdrawn by -$23,652.64. This account was fully reconciled as of the 2/21/2025 statement with a balance of $7692.31. I reconcile manually after importing a .qfx file downloaded from my bank. Running the Repair File function did not correct the issue. More troubling, when I restored from the most recent backup file, dated 3/19/25, that also showed the incorrect bank balance. The running balance in this account is now incorrect going back to at least April, 2024, showing negative balances that never existed. Balances in other accounts in this file appear to be correct.

What is the best course of action?

The problem was not a change in the download method or the opening balance. The file starts in 2021 and everything is fine until the beginning of 2024. At that point some transactions have simply disappeared from the register including my salary deposits. I can go back and re-enter data for 18 months of statements, but I'm afraid this file is now really messed up.
