Why does my Quicken program shut down when I try to open my checking account for editing in the program?
HOW are you opening the program? And, is this happening after you manually initiate a download from a financial institution (Web Connect)?
Do you mean that when you try to open your Checking "register" it causes the Quicken program to shut down? If that assumption is correct, I'd uninstall and reinstall the Quicken program software.
