Whenever I open quicken, cleared transaction reappear.

Whenever I open Quicken lately, transactions which have been previously cleared, reappear. Also some transactions show as the payee repeatedly. For instance, the downloaded transaction will show the same payee for multiple different checks.

Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. To clarify, when you say previously cleared transactions reappear, do you mean that you're getting duplicate transactions (same transaction downloading multiple times)? If that is what you mean, then I recommend you troubleshoot by following the steps in this article on troubleshooting duplicate transactions:

For the other issue you mention, if you're having the same incorrect Payee show up on multiple transactions, that may indicate you have an overly general renaming rule. To change the transactions back to the correct Payee, right click on the transaction and select the revert option.

To check for any rules that may be causing the issue, navigate to Tools>Renaming Rules. Then check for any rules that may be causing the unwanted changes. Once you find the culprit, you can edit it by clicking the pencil icon or delete it by clicking the minus sign icon.
