Change visibility of backup files

Quicken Desktop saves all my manul backups as hidden files in a directory I designated. How do I have Quicken save them as unhidden? I like to glance at tmy backup folder to see my latest backup files without having to go in and unhide everything first…..

It isn't Quicken that is hiding the files, it is Windows. Where is this folder located? Check the settings of that folder and it parents for the hidden attribute. It may be that you will need to change where you are storing them if it is in a folder hierarchy that Windows believes/requires should be hidden.

Another comment, keeping you backups on the same drive as the active Quicken file is a bad idea unless you are also backing up your computer to some cloud service or to removable storage media for safe keeping regularly.
If you computer harddrive fails or a freak accident (fire, water, tornado, etc) damages your computer, everything is gone since the original and the backups are on the same device.
