Red pencil icon won't go away unless I restart Quicken

In the Projected Balances/ Upcoming bills and income I have deposit transactions that have downloaded into the checking account register. These certain transactions have the red pecil icon in the action column and I can't right click on them to change. The only way to remove these from Projected Balances is to close Quicken and then re-open again, now these are gone. Any other solution to this without closing Quicken?

For those "red pencil" transactions, is the status in the CLR column "c" or "R"?

That icon indicates that the txn has been input, but not matched to a downloaded item, you can hover your mouse over the pencil to see the message.

IF they have been downloaded and matched, you might try taking a backup and then Validating your Q data file … because it possible (remote, but possible) that there's some data corruption going on.

When downloading transactions, do you automatically accept those downloaded transactions into your checking account register? Or do you review them first, before accepting each individually into the checking register?

What reason is there that you need to make changes to a reminder after it has been accepted into the register?

In the Projected Balances view, future dated recorded register transactions will always remain in the view (otherwise the view would be incomplete)

Recorded reminders, dated today or older past due ones, will remain in the view until the end of today. Tomorrow they will not show in the view because the date filter for the view is "to show only today's reminders, past due unrecorded reminders and all future reminders for next xx days".

So, personally I wouldn't worry about them being here today.
