Error Code 506 etc

In the last few weeks I have gotten numerous error codes for failure to download. This has happened to Capital One VISA cards ( 3 different) and two BofA checking accounts. It has happened in two different Quicken files. I have tried to update via one step update and opening the account and down loading from within the account. Each time I have had to either rest the account or deactivate and reactivate. When it happened to BofA the error message asked if I had deleted the account > no. I have had these accounts for years and have downloaded successfully. These problem with BofA seems to have stopped as it has for all VISA cards except for one of them. I had to reset one of the Capital One VISA cards for the third day in a row.

Has anyone else had this experience? Is it known what is causing the problem? Is there a permanent fix?

thanks

Arthur

I have not seen this but I essenetilly followed all of the steps. It works and then a few days later it happens again. The next time it happens I'll follow each of these steps in detail.

    Thanks

A 506 error has happened again to one of my Capital One Visa accounts. This is about the third time this has occurred with no changes to the account by me. I have other Capital One accounts in other Quicken files which have experienced the same issue. I will go through all of the steps you recommend. However, it seems as though there's a repetitive problem that needs investigation
