Maturity Dates for Bonds and CDs Reports Displays Erroneous Data

I am using Quicken Classic Business & Personal version R63.21 build 27.1.63.21 and have 2 issues with this report.

  1. I had a corporate bond that was called early. I entered a Bonds Sold transaction, it removed it from my portfolio, but it is still showing in the report.
    1. I changed the call date on the bond to the date of sale, but that had no impact
    2. I then changed the maturity date , that removed it from the report, but this seems to be a workaround, selling the bond should have removed it from the report.
  2. I transferred 2 bonds from my IRA to Roth IRA using the transfer feature. The show correct in my portfolio, however they are duplicated in the report.
    1. This has been reported by other users and still not fixed. When will it be fixed?

@telecomdh another thing to note - the "Maturity Date" in the security setup is automatically removed on maturity date and falls off the report. So those bonds will eventually drop off the report once the maturity date arrives.

Understand your point, however the ones in question don't mature until 2030, which is a long time to live with an obvious bug in the software. They could be called earlier and I expect that they might given that there interest rate is well above the current market.

@telecomdh I totally agree. My comment was to show the functionality currently in place with the maturity date.

I agree with this comment. I would like to be better able to use this report to help build bond or CD ladders, and make new decisions when early calls occur. It is time consuming and annoying not to be able to keep seeing lists of bonds which may have been sold or called and to not be able to tell the current positions. Find the report pretty useless in it's current form. Would love more selection options.
