Add Statement Dates to account transaction pages.

When I review my accounts to check the posted, cleared, and other transactions, at the top, it displays the Account Nickname and the bank/institution (if it is connected).

By adding the Statement Date on this page (one that I view every time I open my Quicken Mac), it can serve as a reminder to pay the outstanding balance before the end of the period to avoid those outrageous interest charges.

It would also help determine the best time to reconcile the accounts officially.

Thank you in advance for considering this idea.

While we're waiting for this Idea to make its way thru the process may I suggest that you create and use a Scheduled Reminder Transaction to remind you of the monthly payment due date, with about 21 days advance notice so that you can record the reminder when you receive notice of the new monthly statement being available?

Another suggestion would be to use the credit card company's Autopay service, to let their computer make an automatic debit of total or partial balance due direct from your checking account on or before the due date. This way you cannot miss a payment and incur penalty interest charges. Of course, you have to make sure that your checking account has enough balance to cover the direct debit.

Thank you for the time it took you to write your post.
Those are very good ideas. I actually only included the reminder ideas to show a couple of benefits for the idea that would be possibly beneficial to many.

You see, I haven't paid a penny of interest to any of my cards. My credit card purchases are paid for within a day or two of the charge. The only time my credit card statements have a balance are for the couple of them that have an annual fee.

As for autopay, most of my monthly, quarterly and annual bills are set up that way.

Don't know if this helps anyone, but I just create a scheduled transaction for each account called, for example, FNBO Statement, with the anticipated statement date to repeat monthly. I also created a color tag for statement, so they are easy to see when I look at the account page. The other advantage to this is that I can attach the pdf statement to this transaction once it comes in and have quick access to all of my statements directly from Quicken. Just a suggestion, in case Quicken doesn't implement this any time soon.
